Community Action Ministry

The Community Action Ministry (CAM) at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (HTLC) is just what our name says, we are a ministry of the church that takes action to help those who are less fortunate in our community and support local organizations and activities that benefit area residents, international groups, and homeless people. We volunteer and/or financially support the following organizations (click on the links to read more):
LARS (Laurel Advocacy and Referral Service, Inc.)
FISH of Laurel – Elizabeth House is a social service program sponsored by FISH of Laurel, Inc
Winter Shelter – during the winter months, Laurel area faith communities house, feed, and supervise homeless men and women for one week at each location.

- God’s Work Our Hands – HTLC volunteers participate in this annual day of service for organizations such as: Patuxent Wildlife Refuge, Capital Area Food Bank, Sarah’s House, and Elizabeth House.
